I’m very curious as to how the healing process of this works

I have always been curious about the healing of a bifurcation as well. It seems as though it would be difficult to keep the tongue separate to keep it from healing back to itself. 

Do they not bandage or cauterise it or smth? 

You know what? They probably do cauterize it. I should talk to my piercer and ask him, he should know.

Please report back with your findings! I am interested in this information. 

I got 6 stitches, 3 on each side. They usually do one in the back middle but I opted not to, because its quite painful and annoying.
